Before we get into the equipment series, let's sort the fun bit first. Some of you booked within 7 days, which means you've earned a genuine choice. Worth taking a minute to pick properly rather than going with the first thing that catches your eye.

Option 2
Core

A free pair of all-mountain skis with bindings, or a free all-mountain snowboard, built to get you through the season and through your Level 2.
|
These are free skis or boards, and they're non-negotiable on model. The exact spec is matched to your mountain and your course, so there's no choice involved on that front. It's selected to suit exactly what you'll be doing on the snow.
Revelstoke and Ski Patrol clients: a pair of all-mountain skis without bindings, either a Bent Chetler 100 or a Salomon QST 106, matched to your height, weight, experience and terrain.
Everyone else: a pair of Salomon Addikt Pro skis or Salomon Stance, with bindings included. Versatile enough to carry you through the whole season, with enough performance for you to grow into without losing the playfulness of a more forgiving ski. A good sweet spot for Level 1 and 2.
Snowboarders: an all-mountain board from Weston or Salomon. Last year's Dream Machine was a firm favourite, and we're bringing in a new edition from Salomon to cover all sizes and abilities. Between the two, we've got you covered.

Option 3
Performance

For those who want a bit more than the standard kit.
|
Skiers: an Original+ ski, custom built to you rather than you fitting yourself around an off-the-shelf shape. Their formula and questionnaire pairs the ski to your height, weight and skill set, then delivers it to your door. It's the best answer we've found to the eternal "what's the best ski for me" question, and it's only available tied to your booking. So this is the one shot at it.
Snowboarders: an upgrade from Weston or Salomon, picked around the riding you'll actually be doing on your days off. CASI training generally calls for a twin tip since you'll be riding switch at points during the course, but you may want something different once you're off the clock.
